About this place

I am Rahul Dahal, a software engineer working primarily in JavaScript and TypeScript on the seams where applications meet infrastructure: pooling, observability, deploys, the boring middle.

I build JavaScript systems that have to keep working when nobody is watching. This site is where I put the writing, notes, and tools that came out of that, mostly about the un-glamorous middle of software: connection pools, deploys, tracing, the bits that decide whether a Tuesday is quiet or not.

This site is not a portfolio and not a resume. It's the reading list, the writing, and the small notes that make up how I actually think about the work, all kept in one place so I can find them, and so anyone curious can too.
